To our knowledge comes news about software fixes being deployed to scooters fleet by their companies across some US and some EU cities – when your scooter is connected to IOT device there is probability that it will update itself and start messing up with unlocking signal cycle sending by our modules. For now affected scooters will get symptoms of shutting down after 20s of work – so to be clear this tool doesn’t work on heartbeat patched version yet, we’ve opened USB port for updates in the future – we are constantly working on firmware.
Please be aware of this and stay “offline” to not pull updates from vendor IOT service.
This tool was created to be a small speed booster (speed unlocker).
Dear customers, this tool is in ALPHA VERSION for the moment, we are developing compatibility for more electric scooters ESC all the time. Please consider your support with new models.
Small discount up to 2020-08-30 due to EARLY VERSION stage.
On beta version there is no guarantee that this tool will be compatible with your ESC however it’s open ported to further update it.

What this tool is about
This is a hardware component – basically ready to use kit that can unlock full speed potential on an electric kick-scooter which you own. It does work with stock scooter components.
Product is suitable for unlocking speed on “Tier” (and maybe others like “Voi”, “Jump” , for now it’s unknown). This is maintenance-free version.
Requirements:
- official scooter IOT devices/unlocking module that can already generate heartbeat. For ex. application “MyTier” for Tier company scooters – SPEED BOOSTER will work along side
New “booster” is ready to use, plug and play – it will fit completely inside the steering tube due to small form factor.
Device is designed to be use with bought scooters which have capability to send “heartbeat” sequence (if you don’t have heartbeat enabled scooter you can use regular unlocker like “PARROT“).
This app is dedicated for users with 2 minute shutdown problem who has official IOT heartbeat code generator – this BOOSTER tool is working side by side with it.
So you preserve official app capability (turn on/off) and get speed unlocked and scooter stays on (no issue with 2 minutes shutdown).
For ex. Tier users with access/bluetooth pin code to official app – which already can turn on their scooters – can benefit from this tool by unlocking full speed without 2 min. shutdown issue.

How to use, what this tool can do
To activate speed unlocker, scooter has to be turned on through it’s manufacturer provided application.
This tool is maintenance-free so there is no extra user interface/input.
After turning on scooter, our module will detect scooter state and after few seconds will initiate speed boosting sequence. Please always ride with your helmet on!
We actively work on further firmware upgrades – see changelog.

Yes you can, just use one of touch wire on your button as regular and only one left touch wire as touch input. To be clear, when using both input methods setup: button = 1 pink/purple + 1 grey/white & touch input = 1 pink/purple
If you are into custom settings on newest KINGFISHER or PARROT tool and your scooter need adjustment, follow table below according to ESC model of your scooter.
Default (initial) settings are 1/1, accordingly: 1 for model & 1 for dashboard.

What is the difference between factors? Well, depending of ESC, different factors makes impact on speed and acceleration curve.
Example ES-100 speeds with [km/h]: 99, 28, 25, 22, 19, 12, 8, 0.

Wire voltage across harness in our tool
Please measure outgoing voltage in wires from your scooter and do not exceed this rates.
Do not missmatch polarity.
In worst case scenario electrolytic capacitor on our tool can blow off. This is safety warning, please use this tool with scooter that it’s made for only – or took precautions steps assuming case of module failure (smoke and case discharge).
Connect this tool as last part of your scooter circuit system to avoid voltage overload.
